New horse hair pottery jewelry boxes handcrafted by MI Vail, Navajo. They pour ceramic into a mold and let it dry. They heat up ceramic ware in a kiln then toss the authentic horse from the mane onto the heated pot. The carbon is drawn into the surface of the pot and creates the designs. Then they hand-carve the designs. The process is very hazardous and time-consuming. We ship and please specify style when ordering.
